Welding

​At Hot Welds, our capabilities include the following welding processes: 

• MIG - Our most common process for steel or aluminum. Technically know as "Metal Inert Gas" welding.
• TIG - A precision weld process that produces the highest quality welds but is slow and expensive. We mostly use TIG for thinner materials, especially aluminum or where a precision weld is needed. The process works for all weldable metals and is great for stainless. TIG stands for Tungsten Inert Gas. 
• Stick ​- Still our leading option for heavy structural welds, especially outdoors. The process has high deposition rates, low defect rates and excellent penetration.  Also produces nice looking welds. Often referred to as Submerged Metal Arc Welding in technical literature.​​

CAD Services

Every project begins with a shop drawing. With over 30 years of experience using AutoCAD, we efficiently design your project using our CAD system. We then submit the drawings for your approval before the first piece of steel is cut.
